Solutions House started out as a collaboration between Futerra, Google and The Exponential Roadmap Initiative to host live events at Futerra’s offices during Climate Week 2022. Over 500 solutionists passed through our doors with many saying, ‘best event ever!’
We called it ‘Solutions House’ because the three partners craved a space for answers, not just problems. Attendees are called ‘solutionists’ because Solitaire Townsend launched her book, The Solutionists, at the House.
In 2024, the demand for ANSWERS ONLY has outgrown the Futerra office. So, this year, Solutions House Live is moving venue to Studio 525, 525 West 24th Street to allow many more solutionists to attend and enable a better experience for both live and online attendees.
Futerra and the Exponential Roadmap Initiative remain the Solutions House Live hosts. And we’re excited to welcome the Sustainable Entertainment Alliance as convening partner along with Google this year!

Meeting in person matters. There’s magic when people gather and connect in a human way. But we live in a big world, so we’ll never be able to welcome every solutionist at a live event. So let’s bottle that magic.
Solutions House is now a 365 day a year, 24/7 online hub for solutionists everywhere who want to catch up on the latest news, debates and ideas about how we can get to a just, fair and 1.5-degree world. Join a global community of people that think the same.

Did we mention Climate Week NYC? We are back this year, in our bigger venue, and you can join us in person by picking the sessions you’d like to attend and registering online. Then we’ll look into taking Solutions House Live on the road!
